GEOBLACK® is a black system used to protect fasteners and other types of metal parts from corrosion, obtained by combining GEOMET® 430 with a black finish from the performingtopcoats range (PLUS® or GEOKOTE®), thus allowing specific coefficients of friction and/or resistance to chemical aggression to be obtained.
These new black-on-black GEOBLACK® systems allow you to improve the aesthetic appearance of metal parts, even after shocks, automatic selection.
- Adjustable coefficient of friction for values between 0.06 and 0.20 (ISO 16047) with the performing topcoats proposed by NOF METAL COATINGS EUROPE
- Exclusive use in combination with black performing topcoats PLUS® or GEOKOTE®
- Excellent assembly and multi-clamping behaviour (with lubricated finish): Complies with VW TL 180 and TL 233
- Good chemical resistance with finishes (VDA 621-412)
- Maintains coating performance at high temperatures (exposure up to 300°C)
- Electrical conductivity suitable for most applications
